RL413 Jesus, Paul and the Law - 3 credits
Filmed in Bristol, England, this series delves in-depth into the vitally important and multi-faceted subject of the Law (Torah). Answers such questions as: “How did Jesus ‘fulfill’ and not ‘abolish’ the Law?” “How is He the ‘end’ of the Law?” “Did Paul, unlike Jesus, ‘abolish’ the Law?” There are certain Hebraic keys that open up a clear and consistent view of Paul and the Torah. Examines the rich variety of teaching methods used by the Jesus of history, comparing them with the ways the Christ of faith continues to teach and disciple.
